Kimberley Bobcats & Snow Removal is looking for a Snow Shoveller for the 2026/2027 winter season (November 01st until late March). Priority is given to candidates living in Kimberley.

About us

Kimberley Bobcats and Snow Removal is a family run and operated business offering professional snow plowing, snow removal, snow shovelling and salting/sanding service to Residential and Commercial customers in Kimberley BC.

We service all of Kimberley and work whenever it's snowing. This job is on-call 7 days per week, and we work the days Mother Nature decides it should snow, and usually for a day or two afterwards.

A typical day includes a 5am work start, driving between worksites, shovelling snow, applying salt, and operating a snow blower. It's typically a bit of shovelling, a bit of driving, a bit of shovelling, a bit of driving throughout the day. Most shovels are in the 5-10 minute range with driving in between. We supply the shovels.

Open to anyone but must have a valid drivers licence and ideally your own, reliable vehicle. If you're worried about not being in valuable enough shape to shovel all day, don't be - you'll get in good shape if you have the right attitude and determination, and we're flexible with your work - when you're starting out and getting tired you can call it quits for the day. We will pay $35 hour for the time you're working, not just shovelling.

Ideally suited for someone who likes to work hard and is in good physical shape.



Good communication skills and a professional and friendly demeanor is essential. Reliability is a must because we are on-call to Mother Nature and we work when it's snowing (or the next day or two).

The 2026/2027 snow removal season goes from November 01st until late-March, which is the time period you would be committing to. We offer landscaping work to our snow removal employees from May 01st until November 01st (at the same wage), but this isn't required. We would like to have you working with us long term for future seasons, if possible, and most of our employees stick around for multiple seasons (though this isn't required either).

Preference would be given to mountain bikers, climbers, whitewater kayakers, paragliders and outdoor people who want to stick close to home (Kimberley) for the winter. Skiers and Snowboarders - by being hired you won't get any more "in bounds" powder days, so if you're going to apply to this job you're hopefully into backcountry skiing and snowboarding or like ripping the groomers.
