About us: ECO Windows has supplied windows for over 20 years, working on commercial and residential projects across the United States. We supply and install commercial-grade vinyl and aluminum windows and premium European windows. We are opening a recent office in Calgary and are building the team from day one.
Job type: Full-time, permanent. Pay: $58,000 to $72,000 per year, depending on experience, plus performance bonus. Location: Calgary, AB (hybrid or remote available).
What you will do
- Prepare clean, accurate shop drawing sets for windows, doors and glazing systems
- Revise drawings based on client and architect comments and RFIs
- Support estimators with takeoffs and drawings during bidding
- Keep drawing logs and submittals organized, and handle general office tasks such as client calls and email
What you bring
- 2+ years of drafting experience, ideally in windows, glazing, curtain wall, millwork or building envelope
- Strong 2D drafting in AutoCAD (LT is fine); Revit (LT) experience is an asset; 3D or rendering skills (e.g.
Blender) a plus
- Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
- Diploma in drafting, architectural or engineering technology, or equivalent experience
- Good communication in English, precise, self-directed, and able to set priorities with minimal supervision
