Title: Security Guard
Employment Type: Full time
Pay Rate: $18.75 - $22.44 per hour
Schedule: Various shifts (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)

Site Overview

Our Prince George client sites provide safe, secure, and welcoming environments for local organizations, employees, and the public. As part of our frontline team, you will act as a reassuring presence, maintaining safety while delivering helpful and professional service to everyone on site.

What You'll Be Doing

- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to identify safety hazards and security risks.

- Manage access control points and verify identification for employees and visitors.

- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm panels, and security systems.

- Respond promptly to safety incidents, alarms, and emergency service requests.

- Enforce site rules and client policies firmly and respectfully.

- Provide attentive customer service and assistance to staff, clients, and visitors.

- Write clear, objective incident reports and complete shift logs.

- Communicate effectively with team supervisors, client contacts, and emergency responders when needed.

Must Haves

- Valid BC Security Licence.

- Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license.

- Reliable transportation.

- Strong spoken and written communication skills.

- Ability to stay calm, focused, and professional under pressure.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-Haves

- Valid Basic First Aid certification.

- Prior experience in security services or customer service.

- Hands-on experience with patrols, access control procedures, and CCTV operation.
