Richmond Advisory Services Inc. is a national property management and facility services company that provides services to government and fortune 100 companies. Richmond Advisory Services Inc. would like to hire a Property Accountant for our Markham Ontario office.

Property Accountant

Key Responsibilities for assigned portfolio:

- Prepare monthly and quarterly client reporting : cash flow reports, financial statements, AR, etc.
- Develop and maintain property budgets and forecasts
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations
- Prepare annual Common Area Maintenance and Property Tax reconciliations
- Review Tenant leases to ensure accurate billing and lease data set up
- Provide support during financial audits
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger
- Prepare and file monthly and quarterly HST/QST returns for assigned portfolio
- Propose recommendations for process improvement of standardized reporting, policies and procedures o support efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day activities

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in property accounting
- Proven financial analytical skills




- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with MS Word and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients
- Ability to deal effectively with multiple demands and deliverables, and remain professional in
- demanding situations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities within structured deadlines and deliverables
- Experience with Yardi and/or Spectra computer systems an asset
- Take ownership of portfolio with clients with different requirements
- Being bilingual would be an asset (English & French)

Additional information:

- Salary range is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00
- Start Date: Immediately
- Vacation: Three weeks
