Home to premier spaces including the Jonathan Toews Sportsplex, Dakota Fieldhouse, and Jumpstart Community Rink & Beach Volleyball Centre, Dakota serves thousands of visitors through year-round programs, events, and amenities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Facility Manager to lead daily operations, support long-term facility planning, and help ensure our busy multi-use complex remains protected, welcoming, and exceptionally maintained for the community we serve.

What you'll do

- Oversee the daily operation of the physical facility and its staff team
- Manage arena ice maintenance and repair
- Ensure HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance systems are maintained and operational
- Build a preventative maintenance schedule
- Develop and monitor maintenance budget

What you bring

- Manitoba W Class Refrigeration Power Engineer's certificate.




- Manitoba 4th Class Refrigeration (or higher) Power Engineer’s certificate is an asset.
- Class 5 driver's license
- Experience in facility/building management (recreation or municipal preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in arena ice plant management and ice maintenance
- Strong people-leadership skills and a solution-focused, collaborative mindset
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety and facility safety standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends as required.
