Shifts

- Day Shift: 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Night Shift: 5:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
- Schedule: 4 days per week, including weekend days
- Openings: 1 Day Shift Separator Operator and 1 Night Shift Separator Operator

About the Position

Skotidakis Goat Farm is looking for reliable and motivated Separator Operators to join our Processing & Production team.

The Separator Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring milk separation equipment and related processing systems to ensure efficient production, consistent product quality, and compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements.

We are hiring one Day Shift Separator Operator and one Night Shift Separator Operator.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor milk separators and related dairy processing equipment.
- Set up, operate, and shut down separator equipment according to established procedures.
- Monitor processing conditions, including flow, pressure, temperature, and equipment performance.
- Ensure separation processes are completed efficiently and according to production requirements.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report abnormalities or mechanical issues.
- Complete production, quality, and processing records accurately.
- Conduct routine quality and process checks.
- Follow HACCP, GMP, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with CIP (Clean-in-Place) and equipment cleaning procedures.
- Maintain proper product flow throughout the processing operation.
- Communicate processing issues or deviations to the appropriate supervisor.
- Work closely with HTST Operators, Processing, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.




- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other processing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating milk separators or dairy processing equipment is preferred.
- Previous experience in a dairy or food manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify basic equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor processing conditions.
- Ability to accurately complete production and processing documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced production setting.
- Previous experience with CIP systems is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
- Ability to work in a food processing environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to wear required PPE and follow all food safety and sanitation requirements.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
