Job Summary

Duties

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards, ensuring freshness and quality at all times
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accuracy with retail math and basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and utensils regularly to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas to promote a welcoming environment for all guests
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold safety standards and prevent contamination or spoilage

Requirements





- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Experience working in a restaurant, café, grocery store, or retail environment is advantageous
- Capable of standing for extended periods while performing food prep and customer service tasks
