Overview

The Beauty Salon Manager at Sova Nails & Spa oversees daily salon operations, ensures a welcoming and professional client experience, and supports the team in delivering high-quality nail and spa services. This hands-on role combines team leadership, customer service, sales, and administrative coordination to maintain effective salon operations and client satisfaction.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate salon staff, including nail technicians and other beauty professionals, through recruitment, interviewing, training, scheduling, and ongoing performance support.
- Oversee daily salon operations, including appointment scheduling, front-desk activities, POS transactions, cash handling, payroll administration, recordkeeping, and budget monitoring.
- Coordinate the purchasing of nail care products, beauty supplies, and salon equipment while monitoring inventory and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Support retail sales, product merchandising, pricing, promotional activities, and marketing initiatives to help increase salon revenue and attract new clients.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally, managing appointments efficiently,



and ensuring a positive salon experience.
- Organize staff responsibilities, monitor service quality, and ensure that salon workstations and shared areas meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with employees and clients, and support the smooth day-to-day functioning of Sova Nails & Spa.

Requirements

Required: Leadership, team coordination, customer service, communication, organization, time management, and basic mathematical skills to support daily salon management and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred: Experience in salon supervision, beauty services, retail management, sales, administration, or bookkeeping. Familiarity with appointment management systems, POS transactions, payroll, budgeting, inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, pricing, marketing, recruitment, and employee training is an asset. Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are also an advantage.

Pay: From $32.18 per hour
