Enthusiastic breakfast cook wanted to join our team in the fast paced Lakes Taphouse and Bar

- Monday to Friday schedule, required availability for 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM shifts. Expected 35- 40 hours per week
- This position starts solo, so a reliable, consistent, and trustworthy individual is a must
- AM prep responsibilities as needed to help set the day up for success
- Able to assist on Dish when no dishwasher is present

Responsibilities

- Taking responsibility for the kitchen based on direction of your Chef/Sous Chef at all times.
- Ensure that we are operating to the highest standards with our customers and staff right until close, maintaining a world class environment.
- Recipes and systems are followed to 100% execution.
- Execute all standards for opening and closing the kitchen following checklists.
- You represent The Lakes Restaurant + Bar at all times and will execute accordingly to brand and operational standards

Key Performance Indicators

- Hours training new staff.
- Cleaning, closing, opening checklists completed.
- Is able to work all line positions and is developing his skills while supporting those around.



Meals are compliant with standard recipe forms.
- Has begun to work Call and shows a clear understanding of the position.
- Shows ability to follow all routines and checklists on a daily basis.
- Leads a team with energy and commitment of staff to achieve service goals.
- Follows the Lakes values shared in the employee guide at all times.
- Flexibility on their scheduling depending on kitchen needs.
- Available for PM and weekend shifts, including closing shifts up to 11:00 PM
- Must have reliable transit to accommodate PM scheduling
- Minimum 1 year Line Cook experience
- willingness to assist in dish station occasionally if coverage is needed

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
