Lead mechanical engineering oversight for complex City of Waterloo projects in Waterloo, applying project management and construction coordination expertise. Hybrid eligibility follows the City's Remote Working Procedure. As Senior Project Manager, Mechanical, you will manage capital projects involving HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, BAS, refrigeration, and swimming pools. You will coordinate design, procurement, construction, and contract administration across municipal facilities. The work supports offices, recreation centres, libraries, fire stations, and heritage buildings.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical engineering for complex renovations and building additions

- Coordinate consultants, contractors, City staff, and project stakeholders
- Review construction documents, changes,

- Support sustainability projects, refrigeration repairs, reports, and technical standards

Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or related education and five years’ experience
- Ontario Professional Mechanical Engineer license in positive standing
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and ASHRAE standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD or Revit, and PDF editors
