Shape strategic work for graduate education at the University of Toronto, applying policy expertise, research skills, and sound judgment in downtown Toronto. As Special Projects Officer, you will advise the School of Graduate Studies and the Vice-Provost’s Office. The work includes reviewing draft policies, researching issues, and supporting academic administrator searches and review committees. You will work with the Decanal Team and senior university administrators.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on policy matters and issues
- Advise on draft policies and proposals
- Support academic administrator searches and review committees
- Coordinate projects, initiatives, and daily portfolio activities




- Maintain proactive service for the Vice-Provost’s Office

Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent education and experience
- Four years’ university experience in progressively senior positions
- Knowledge of university policies, procedures, structure, and governance
- Robust quantitative and qualitative data literacy
- Political acuity, diplomacy, discretion, and tact Bring policy advising, research, and governance knowledge to strategic projects supporting graduate education across the University of Toronto.
