Department Lead – Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic

We’re looking for an experienced Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic with strong technical expertise and leadership abilities to help establish and lead our new HVAC department.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in the field while taking on the responsibility of leading a team and overseeing department operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting residential and commercial heat pump systems
- Working with geothermal heating and cooling systems
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting technicians and installation crews
- Establishing and overseeing day-to-day department operations
- Coordinating scheduling, installations, and service projects
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards
- Maintaining strong communication with customers, staff, and management

What We’re Looking For

- Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic certification (required)
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record




- Experience with residential and commercial heat pump systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a crew
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and oversee projects
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Geothermal experience considered an asset

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
