Build AMD ROCm profiling tools with modern C++ and performance engineering expertise as a hands-on contributor to the AI GPU Software Group. This Software Development Engineer delivers functionality, scalability, and interoperability across AMD’s profiling tool ecosystem. The work includes abstraction layers, data adapters, distributed data transfer, and production-quality software. You will collaborate with profiling tools teams, open-source code, and global stakeholders while contributing as an individual contributor.

Key Responsibilities
- Define abstraction layers for profiling data handling
- Implement adapters for varied data formats
- Design, test, integrate, and enhance profiling features
- Refactor code for modularity and interoperability




- Implement scalable multi-node data transfer solutions

Requirements:
- Advanced recent contemporary C++ development experience required
- Python development background
- Experience designing APIs for large-scale applications
- Experience with asynchronous, networking, client-server, and distributed models
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline Apply modern C++, performance engineering, and collaboration skills to advance AMD ROCm profiling tools and software quality.
