Lead Canadian corporate governance research at Glass Lewis from downtown Toronto, using strategic leadership and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid schedule. The Director of Research leads the Canadian research team and translates strategic priorities into research, policy, engagement, and business activities. This full time position oversees high-profile analysis, communicates company policies, and represents the Canadian market to clients and issuers. Research Leads and Managers may report directly to this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Canadian research team
- Review and publish high-profile or contentious Proxy Papers
- Lead Canadian policy updates and proxy season reviews
- Oversee client engagement, escalations, and strategic presentations




- Inform senior management about Canadian market insights

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and seven years’ relevant experience
- At least two years in a senior position
- Excellent English communication and sophisticated research editing skills
- Broad knowledge of governance principles and regulatory frameworks
- Experience engaging issuers, investors, and institutions Bring corporate governance expertise, mentoring, sound judgment, and relationship-building skills to Glass Lewis’s Canadian research leadership.
