The Scientist or Senior Scientist will develop, implement, and optimise advanced analytical workflows within the Mass Spectrometry Tech Hub. You will work with Generative Biology Institute groups and wider EIT researchers on sample preparation, acquisition, quality control, and complex dataset interpretation. The role also supports training materials and accessible research capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement robust low-input LC-MS analytical workflows
- Develop sample preparation and acquisition methods
- Troubleshoot experiments and assess quality control
- Support researchers with mass spectrometry studies
- Represent EIT at scientific meetings and events
Requirements:
- Advanced degree or equivalent research experience
- Demonstrable LC-MS proteomics or metabolomics expertise
- Experience developing and troubleshooting analytical workflows
- Knowledge of bottom-up or top-down approaches
- Robust communication and organisational skills Use LC-MS method development, quality control, and scientific collaboration to expand high-sensitivity analytical capability across EIT.
