Location: Remote, British Columbia or elsewhere in Canada
Employment: Full-time

We're looking for a people person who sees the possibilities.
Some people can talk to anyone, others have a knack for spotting where a business could grow. We're looking for someone who can do both: ask thoughtful questions, understand a client's goals, connect the dots to the right marketing solutions, and build relationships that lead to great outcomes.
At Navigator Multimedia, we help service-based businesses grow through website design, SEO, PPC, and organic social media marketing. As our Digital Solutions Advisor, you'll turn conversations into opportunities, help clients find the right solutions, and generate revenue through initiative, curiosity, and consistent follow-through.
What you'll be doing
1. Grow relationships with existing clients
Build genuine relationships with Navigator's existing clients, uncover growth opportunities, and recommend solutions that deliver real business value.
- Meet with at least 12 existing clients every week to understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand services based on client needs.
- Lead ongoing warm outreach campaigns, ensuring the next campaign is ready before the current one ends.
- Reconnect with past clients and lost opportunities to explore new business possibilities.
2. Turn inbound leads into new business
Own the entire sales journey, from the first conversation to the signed agreement, through consultative selling rather than high-pressure tactics.
- Respond promptly to every inbound lead, qualify opportunities, and conduct engaging discovery meetings.
- Uncover business challenges, goals, budgets, and decision-making needs to recommend the right digital marketing solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, confidently handle objections, negotiate, and close deals at a 15% conversion rate.
- Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline with documented conversations, next steps, and consistent follow-up.
- Track sales activity, conversion rates, pipeline value, and closed revenue to continuously improve results.
3. Answer the phone.
Make someone's day.
Be one of the friendly, knowledgeable voices clients hear when they call Navigator.
- Build rapport quickly, listen carefully, and make every caller feel valued.
- Provide practical marketing guidance and identify opportunities to help clients grow.
- Turn everyday conversations into stronger relationships and opportunities to deliver value.
4. Understand the solutions behind the sale
Be the knowledgeable advisor who connects business challenges with the right digital solutions; not someone who simply recites a list of services.
- Understand how SEO, PPC, website design, and social media marketing work together to generate traffic, leads, conversions, and business growth.
- Confidently explain marketing strategies, expected outcomes, and the business value of each solution in plain language.
- Understand website structure, user experience, and conversion principles.
- Collaborate with Navigator's marketing and development specialists to validate recommendations, scope solutions, and ensure a smooth handoff after the sale.
You don't need to be a developer or campaign manager. But you do need the expertise to understand a client's problem, recommend an appropriate solution, and confidently explain why it will help.
What we're looking for
- 2+ Years experience of B2B sales, including personally managing discovery calls, proposals, objections, negotiations, and closing opportunities.
- 4+ Years experience in digital marketing services, including websites, SEO, and PPC, with a solid understanding of how these services generate business results.
- A consultative sales mindset: You ask outstanding questions, listen carefully, uncover real business challenges, and sell solutions rather than services.
- Exceptional people skills: You're personable, confident, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoy building relationships with business owners.
- A self-starter mentality: You create opportunities, initiate conversations, follow up consistently,
and don't need someone chasing you to get things done.
- Strong organization and CRM discipline: You manage your pipeline, document interactions, and keep every opportunity moving forward.
- Resilience and accountability: You handle rejection professionally, take ownership of results, and continuously improve your approach.
- Professional remote presence: You're confident on video calls, communicate clearly, and maintain a professional appearance and meeting environment.
- A growth mindset: You're curious, coachable, comfortable with AI and modern sales tools, and always looking for smarter ways to work.
We value personality, initiative, and coachability just as much as experience. You need a strong understanding of digital marketing, a natural ability to connect with people, and the drive to turn opportunities into results.
Navigator’s Values
- Own the Outcome: Take responsibility for results, not just activity.
- Fight for the Client: Recommend solutions that genuinely help.
- Never Stop Improving: Keep learning and finding better ways to work.

- Build Trust Through Reliability: Communicate clearly and follow through.
