About Toronto Ski Club Toronto Ski Club is a private, family-oriented ski club located at the base of Blue Mountain. During the winter season, our clubhouse is a lively gathering place for members and their families. Weekends are our busiest time, with members enjoying skiing, dining, après-ski activities and social events. We're a small, hardworking team that believes in pitching in, supporting one another and taking pride in the experience we provide our members.

The Position

We're looking for a dependable, energetic and hardworking individual to help keep our clubhouse clean and welcoming during our busy winter weekends. This is a hands-on cleaning position that requires someone who enjoys staying active, works efficiently and takes initiative. Our clubhouse can get very busy, and we're looking for someone who can recognize what needs cleaning, prioritize their work and stay productive without constant supervision. We provide clear cleaning routines and expectations, but we're looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities and doesn't wait to be told what needs doing.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors and floors.
- Regularly check washrooms and replenish supplies throughout the day.
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors in high-traffic areas.
- Clear and wipe down tables in dining and lounge spaces.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners.
- Keep entrances, hallways, lounges and common areas clean and presentable.
- Respond promptly to spills and messes throughout the clubhouse.
- Follow established cleaning routines while independently identifying areas that need additional attention.

- Assist with event setup and cleanup when needed, including moving tables and chairs under the direction of our event team.
- Work cooperatively with other clubhouse staff to keep the Club running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings a great attitude and a strong work ethic to every shift. Our ideal candidate is:

- Self-motivated: You can manage your tasks independently and stay productive throughout your shift.
- Hardworking: You understand that weekends are busy and are comfortable with an active, physically demanding role.
- Detail-oriented: You take pride in maintaining clean washrooms, floors and common areas.
- Reliable: You can consistently commit to Saturday and Sunday shifts throughout the ski season.
- Friendly and cooperative: You work well with others and contribute to a positive team workplace.
- Versatile: You're willing to pitch in and help with other clubhouse tasks when needed.
- Efficient: You can prioritize cleaning tasks and maintain high standards even during busy periods.

Previous cleaning, housekeeping or hospitality experience is an asset, but we're equally interested in candidates who demonstrate reliability, initiative and a willingness to work hard.

What We Offer

- Competitive hourly wages based on experience.
- Consistent weekend hours throughout the winter season.
- A predictable part-time schedule.
- A welcoming, supportive team environment.
- A unique workplace at the base of Blue Mountain.
- Opportunities for additional hours during special Club events.
