Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Set-Up Operator / Programmer to support metal-forming operations in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC/PNC hydraulic metal spinning equipment to manufacture steel components according to engineering specifications.

This position requires hands-on CNC programming experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to independently perform machine setups, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain consistent production quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and adjust CNC programs for metal spinning operations.
- Set up and operate CNC/PNC hydraulic spinning equipment.
- Install, position, and align tooling, mandrels, rollers, and machine fixtures.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Adjust machine settings and operating parameters to meet production specifications.
- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Identify and resolve machine setup, tooling, programming, and forming issues.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality and operational efficiency.
- Complete routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate production records where required.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

Qualifications and Requirements





- Previous CNC programming and machine setup experience is required.
- Experience operating CNC/PNC metal spinning, hydraulic forming, flow forming, or similar metal-forming machinery is strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently set up equipment and troubleshoot CNC programs.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, measurements, and manufacturing tolerances.
- Experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to understand and communicate work instructions in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with production team members.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs using safe handling practices.
- Willingness to follow workplace safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

Compensation and Employment Details

Pay Range: $21.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
