Job Overview

An established oil and gas services company is seeking an experienced and motivated Field HSE Representative based out of Grande Prairie, Alberta, to support field operations throughout the surrounding region.

This is a primarily field-based position requiring someone who can work independently, identify hazards, support safe work practices, and maintain accurate safety documentation. Travel to various field locations and client sites will be required.

Minimum Requirements

- Previous experience in a Field HSE Representative or similar safety role required
- Oil and gas field experience required
- Valid Standard First Aid certification
- Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Valid H2S Alive certification
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean 3-year driver's abstract
- Strong computer, documentation, and administrative skills
- Pipeline construction or maintenance experience considered an asset
- Occupational Health and Safety education or certification considered an asset

Responsibilities

- Provide field-level HSE support to crews and supervisors, addressing safety concerns and offering practical guidance.
- Conduct regular field visits, inspections, observations, and site assessments to identify hazards and support protected work practices.
- Promote and reinforce company safety expectations, procedures, and client requirements.
- Support supervisors and workers with hazard identification, incident prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action follow-up.
- Complete and maintain accurate safety documentation, inspection records, and field reports in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with field supervision, operations, and management to support safe and efficient project execution.




- Travel to various field locations and client sites as required.

Experience & Skills

- Strong understanding of oil and gas field operations and associated hazards.
- Experience conducting workplace inspections, safety observations, and incident investigations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, Microsoft Office, and electronic safety management systems.
- Practical problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to field support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
