Job Role: Senior Analyst - Individual Insurance (Policyholder Taxation exp)

Location : Waterloo, ON/Hybrid

Position Type : Fulltime Role

Fulltime Contract: 16 Months

Hybrid – 5 days a Month in office

Ideal Candidate Salary: CAD 75K-80K (Depending on the experience)

Must Have:

- Support the administration of individual life policyholder taxation, including year-end tax reporting and policy illustrations
- Provide subject matter expertise on policyholder taxation and actuarial inforce policy management
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VBA development and automation
- Solid knowledge of SQL for querying, analyzing, and managing data
- Experience with coding languages such as Python, C, or C++
- Solid customer focus and commitment to delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients
- Review and verify tax slips prior to submission to clients and ensure exempt test processes are appropriately applied across all inforce policies, recommending modifications where required
- Investigate, determine, and initiate appropriate actions on inforce policy queries received by the Individual Actuarial Inforce & Policy Tax team
- Knowledge of individual life and health insurance products and experience with automation tools such as PyAutoGUI, Selenium, or similar technologies would be considered an asset
