Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to provide welcoming and efficient service in a hospitality setting. The Server greets guests, takes and delivers orders, answers menu questions, and helps create a positive dining experience. This role works closely with kitchen and service staff to maintain smooth operations, accurate orders, and a clean, protected environment.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, provide attentive customer service and guest services, and respond professionally to questions or concerns.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Serve orders promptly, check in with guests, and coordinate with kitchen staff to address special requests.
- Describe menu items and make appropriate recommendations and upselling suggestions.
- Process guest payments through cashiering, cash handling, and POS transactions, ensuring accuracy.
- Follow food safety, food handling, sanitation,



and cleanliness procedures in dining and service areas.
- Communicate clearly with team members and assist with basic food preparation or other service tasks as needed.
- Use time management, basic math, and general math skills to prioritize service tasks and handle transactions accurately.

Experience

- Food service experience, serving, or restaurant experience is preferred; experience in the food industry is an asset.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest-focused service is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and sanitation practices is preferred.
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills are valued.

Pay: $17.60-$28.89 per hour
