Registered Nurse (RN) – Family Practice

Key Responsibilities

- Provide protected, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
- Conduct nursing assessments, obtain patient histories, monitor vital signs, and support physicians with examinations and treatments.
- Administer adult and pediatric immunizations, injections, and vaccines.
- Perform routine nursing procedures, including wound care, wart treatments, ear syringing, and Holter monitor placement.
- Support patient education, preventive care, and chronic disease management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Follow infection prevention, control, and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications





- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in British Columbia.
- Current RN registration in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medication administration, injections, immunizations, and routine nursing procedures.
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Primary care or family practice experience is an asset.

Ideal Start Date: December 1 or December 14, 2026 (flexible for the right candidate).

Working Interview: A one-day working interview may be offered to shortlisted candidates, allowing both the candidate and our team to determine whether we are a good fit for one another.
