Server / Bartender — Camino

Full-time & Part-time | Southwest Edmonton

Compensation: Starting at $15/hour, with starting pay based on experience, plus pooled gratuities
Expected hours: Approximately 25–40 hours per week, depending on position and availability
Schedule: Dinner service, with five operating days per week planned

About Camino

Camino is an opening wine-focused neighbourhood bistro in southwest Edmonton. We’re building a small team that values warm hospitality, thoughtful food and drink, and making guests feel welcome.

We’re hiring 3–4 full time and part-time Server/Bartenders to join our opening team. In our intimate dining room, team members will both serve tables and prepare drinks. If you enjoy connecting with guests, working collaboratively and developing your wine and cocktail knowledge, we’d like to hear from you.

The role

- Welcome guests and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and help guests navigate the menu.
- Prepare and serve wine, beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks using house recipes and service standards.
- Use Toast POS to enter orders, manage bills and process payments.
- Communicate dietary requests and allergies clearly with the kitchen.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and fellow team members to maintain smooth service.
- Complete opening and closing duties, restock supplies and keep service areas clean and organized.
- Practise responsible alcohol service and bring guest concerns to the manager promptly.

What we’re looking for





- At least six months of restaurant serving experience.
- Valid ProServe certification.
- A genuine interest in hospitality and creating a positive guest experience.
- Strong communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
- Comfort using a POS system and willingness to learn Toast.
- Willingness to serve tables and prepare drinks as part of the same role.
- Availability for dinner shifts.

Wine familiarity and basic cocktail or drink-preparation experience are preferred assets. You don’t need to be a wine expert or an experienced cocktail bartender—we’ll provide training and opportunities to build your knowledge.
