Matrix is hiring an Ironworker / Pre-Engineered Building Installer (2nd Year / Experienced) for a valued client in based in Calgary. This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled team on long-term projects offering competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Details:

- Location: Calgary, AB & BHP Jansen Site, SK
- Pay Rate: $35.00 – $37.50 / hour
- Shift / Rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off, 12 hours per shift

Compensation & Perks:

- Travel Pay: Travel time paid at 50% wage, all travel expenses covered by employer.
- Travel Allowance (LOA): $65.00/day during travel ($20 break, $20 lunch, $25 supper).
- Camp Accommodations: Full camp accommodations and meals provided on site in Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain structural steel frameworks and pre-engineered building components for commercial and industrial projects.
- Execute Turn-of-Nut connection methods, rigging and hoisting, tagline controls, and landing steel safely.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings,



and detailed project schematics.
- Completing individual daily hazard assessments
- Safely operate tools and machinery, including welding equipment, power tools, forklifts, and hoists.

Qualifications & Safety Requirements:

- Minimum 2nd-Year Ironworker Apprentice or equivalent structural steel experience.
- Good afternoon,
- I am running out of season so I am investigating some guys to help in Calgary too ( We have at least 3 jobs within the area)
- Safety Tickets: CSTS. (Required) , Fall Protection / Working at Heights, Aerial Work Platform (Lift), and Telehandler (Recommended).
- Ability to pass a mandatory 10-panel pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test (coordinated and paid by client)
