We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our Production team at Terra Breads. This role is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting daily bakery operations through material handling and production staging.

Working closely with production teams, you will help ensure materials are organized and readily available to support efficient operations while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

** Full-time position – Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm**

Key Responsibilities and Duties include:

- Receive, inspect, store, and ship ingredients, packaging, and finished products in accordance with Terra Breads, SQF, HAACCP, and WorkSafe BC procedures.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks.
- Coordinate deliveries and shipments with internal and external drivers.
- Deliver raw ingredients and materials to production departments.
- Stage materials for production teams and maintain organized storage and work areas.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and production logs.
- Inspect trucks and products for cleanliness, quality, and temperature.
- Communicate with production teams to support effective daily operations.

The right fit:

- Experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling in a food production environment.
- Forklift certification
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.




- Basic computer skills including Excel and Word.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including, repetitive lifting up to 20kg, prolonged standing and walking, and working in areas with varying temperatures and elevated noise levels.
- FoodSafe and/or First Aid certification considered an asset.
