Job Summary

The Building Superintendent oversees building maintenance and repair, coordinating people, projects, and equipment to keep facilities safe, functional, and dependable. This hands-on role combines leadership with practical mechanical and electrical work across building systems.

Responsibilities

- Plan and prioritize maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects; coordinate work, materials, and schedules to support reliable operations.
- Supervise maintenance activities, guide team members, and communicate priorities and progress clearly.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, low-voltage, and programmable logic controller systems; interpret schematics and coordinate appropriate repairs.
- Use CMMS tools to track work orders, equipment history, and preventive maintenance, supporting effective decisions and follow-through.

Skills

Required: Practical maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and clear English communication support daily coordination, troubleshooting, and accurate work-order follow-through. Leadership and project management capabilities help organize work and guide maintenance activities.

Preferred: Supervising experience, industrial maintenance or manufacturing familiarity, and experience with programmable logic controllers, CMMS, schematics, electrical systems, HVAC, and low voltage can strengthen your contribution.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
