Health and Wellness Supervisor

at Chartwell, you will lead our care team in providing high-quality, resident-focused services that enhance well-being and quality of life. You will ensure our residents receive the personalized support they deserve, while creating a warm, safe, and welcoming environment.

What You’ll Do

Oversee and deliver high-quality nursing care using the full nursing process, ensuring individual resident needs are met

Monitor resident well-being, involve families in care decisions, and adjust priorities to address changing needs

Lead, supervise, and support Nurses and Guest Attendants, providing guidance, training, and delegation

Promote wellness programs, health education, and a safe, supportive workplace.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and external care providers

Manage documentation, care plans, medication administration, and compliance with Chartwell policies and regulations

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in nursing or a related leadership role

Registered Practical Nurse (RPN/LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

in good standing with the provincial College of Nurses

Proven leadership and interpersonal skills

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to prioritize and adjust to changing needs

Self-directed, accountable, and committed to professional growth

Valid Driver’s License, or reliable means of transportation

Ability to respond to emergency situations effectively

Willingness to participate in ongoing training and maintain up-to-date professional competence
