Super Crunch Tanghulu Inc. specializes in crafting freshly made candied fruit (Tanghulu) using the highest-quality ingredients. We currently operate five retail locations and participate in over 100 pop-up events at festivals across Canada each year.

We are excited to bring the Super Crunch experience to the Ottawa Christmas Market and are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Seasonal Concession Sales Attendants to join our team!

Responsibilities

- Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming experience for market visitors.
- Greet customers, answer questions about our products, and process sales orders accurately.
- Handle cash, debit, credit, and other payment transactions as required.
- Maintain high standards of product quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure orders are prepared and served efficiently.
- Assist with food preparation and support chefs as needed.
- Keep the booth, workstation, food preparation tools, and containers clean, organized, and presentable.
- Follow all applicable food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with booth setup, restocking, and teardown before and after market operations.




- Monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor of shortages or replenishment needs.
- Help maintain a positive, energetic, and festive atmosphere throughout each shift.
- Perform other related duties as required to support smooth daily operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the Christmas market season.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-oriented attitude.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle retail transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, busy event environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
- Willingness to work outdoors or in varying weather conditions, as required by the event setup.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic with a dependable, punctual, and responsible approach to work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to support the team.
- Previous experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or customer service is an asset.
- A willingness to learn and contribute to a fun, welcoming experience for guests of all ages.
