The Licensed Optometrist provides attentive, patient-centered eye care for people across age groups, including pediatric and senior patients. The role combines clinical assessment, clear communication, and thoughtful guidance to help patients understand their eye health and care options.

Responsibilities

- Conduct eye examinations, assess visual needs, and explain findings and care recommendations in accessible language.
- Provide patient care tailored to pediatric, adult, and senior patients, adapting communication to individual needs.
- Document visits accurately using medical terminology and Epic, and coordinate relevant information with colleagues.
- Discuss optical products and services in a helpful, patient-focused manner, supporting informed choices without pressure.

Experience

Required: Practical optometry capabilities, sound clinical judgment, and clear communication are essential to delivering safe, attentive patient care and explaining recommendations. Preferred: Optical experience, familiarity with pediatrics and senior care, medical terminology, Epic, and patient-focused sales skills can strengthen care coordination and help patients select suitable optical options.

Pay: $85.00-$340.00 per hour
