Wellbeing Wonders Treatment Centre is a multidisciplinary therapy centre dedicated to supporting children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental needs. Our team provides individualized, evidence-based services in a collaborative, supportive, and family-centred workplace focused on helping each child build confidence, independence, and meaningful life skills.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. The successful candidate will provide services both within our centre and in clients’ homes, supporting children and youth with the development of functional skills related to sensory regulation, fine motor coordination, emotional regulation, self-care, and participation in everyday activities.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about working within a multidisciplinary paediatric therapy environment.

Responsibilities

- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning
- Provide engaging 1:1 therapy sessions in-centre and in-home based on each child’s unique strengths and goals
- Support skill development in areas such as sensory processing, fine motor coordination, emotional regulation, handwriting, self-help, and daily living skills
- Develop individualized intervention strategies and caregiver recommendations
- Collaborate with behaviour therapists, families,



and other clinical team members
- Provide consultation and support to staff regarding OT-based strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, session notes, and progress reports
- Communicate regularly with caregivers regarding client progress and recommendations

Qualifications

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with children with ASD or developmental needs is considered an asset
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for in-home services
- Commitment to providing family-centred and evidence-based care

Job Type: Independent Contractor
Pay: $70-80 per hour
Work Locations: In-centre and in-home services within the GTA/Brampton area
