Ledcor is seeking experienced Rig Welders for shutdown and turnaround work at major industrial facilities in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a high-intensity, short-duration prospect where skilled tradespeople play a critical role in keeping plants running safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates are Journeyperson Welders with proven experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or heavy industrial environments, and are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. Perks & Benefits

Registered Journeyperson Welder certification (Red Seal preferred)



Valid Class 5 driver's license with reliable welding rig and required tooling Proven experience as a Rig Welder in shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance, or construction projects within oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, or heavy industrial environments Current CWB, B-Pressure, or other applicable welding certifications (asset) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, weld procedures, and fabrication documents Experience working on time-sensitive projects with changing priorities and tight deadlines Strong understanding of industrial safety practices, permits, hazard assessments, and LOTO procedures Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, reliability, and procedural compliance Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a large multi-trade workforce
