Job Description CNC Machinist - Key Highlights

Location: Windsor, ON
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay Rate: $26-$35/hr + $2/hr shift premium for afternoon shifts
Shift Options:

- Afternoons: 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM
- Rotating Swing Shift (every 2 weeks):
- 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Main Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a machining environment.
- Strong experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Tosnuc controls.
- Proficiency in manual G-code programming.
- Experience operating CNC Horizontal Boring Mills, Vertical Boring Mills, milling machines, and turning machines.
- Ability to machine custom, high-tolerance components.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, geometric tolerances (GD&T;), measuring tools (micrometers, calipers), and quality inspections.
- Experience with 2D machining and extensive tooling knowledge.
- Secondary school diploma and Skilled Trade Certificate/AEC/DEP required.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.




- Program and modify machine settings.
- Perform dimensional inspections and maintain inspection records.
- Assemble and fit components to close tolerances.
- Identify production improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train operators and helpers on machine adjustments.
