Lead MTO transportation infrastructure planning for Parsons in Ontario, applying environmental assessment expertise and strategic leadership. Hybrid work is available. As Principal Environmental Planner, you will lead environmental planning services, major transportation projects, client relationships, business development, and staff development. The position supports Parsons’ Ontario practice while overseeing MTO assignments. You will guide consultation, permitting, approvals, and technical delivery across complex infrastructure programs. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop environmental planning staff through mentoring and coaching Build relationships with MTO and transportation sector clients Oversee proposals, pursuits, staffing plans, schedules,



and budgets Guide MTO Class EA and highway design standard applications Review environmental deliverables and oversee project performance Requirements:

Degree in environmental planning, science, geography, planning, or related discipline 15+ years of environmental planning or EA experience Extensive MTO highway consulting experience Knowledge of MTO Class EA requirements and environmental legislation Valid Ontario G driver’s licence Bring MTO infrastructure expertise, environmental assessment leadership, and client management skills to Parsons’ Ontario planning practice.
