Lead construction procurement for PME Inc., using supplier negotiation and purchasing expertise across high-volume heavy civil projects. Coordinate priorities across active operations.

As Purchasing Lead within EllisDon’s PME group, you will lead purchasers and manage the full purchasing cycle. The work spans requisitions, budgets, supplier quotes, purchase orders, tracking, expediting, delivery coordination, and issue resolution. You will support self-performing heavy civil and infrastructure projects while aligning procurement with schedules, budgets, and field needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of purchasers
- Review requisitions, budgets, quotes, awards, and purchase orders
- Track orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve procurement issues
- Negotiate pricing, terms, rebates,



and delivery schedules
- Maintain supplier records, documentation, and cost coding

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in procurement, supply chain, business, or related discipline
- Five to eight years of purchasing experience required
- Three to five years of construction purchasing experience
- Heavy civil and infrastructure project experience
- Robust negotiation, analytical, planning, and communication skills
