Analyze insurance claims for Pomerleau’s major Canadian construction projects while applying sound judgment and solid bilingual communication skills. This corporate role follows a hybrid work model.

Reporting to the Director – Insurance, you will support the Insurance and Surety team as a key claims resource. You will assess coverage, liability, and damages using contracts, policies, expert reports, and project records. The role may expand into surety claims or Subcontractor Default Insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze incidents and claims across insurance lines
- Review records to assess coverage, liability, and damages
- Advise project teams on claims-related matters
- Coordinate files with insurers and defend Pomerleau’s interests




- Develop training and improve claims practices

Requirements:

- Three to ten years of relevant insurance experience
- Claims adjusting, brokerage, insurer, or risk management experience
- Construction industry knowledge considered a major asset
- Excellent written and spoken French and English
- Strong organization, judgment, confidentiality, and prioritization skills
