Configure industrial networks and remote communications as a Field Operational Technology Technician supporting clients across the Grande Prairie region. Travel to remote industrial sites as required.

This experienced field technician supports Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems across oil and gas, pipeline, energy, utility, and industrial facilities. The work combines managed switches, industrial firewalls, wireless systems, VPN connectivity, cellular communications, and telecommunications. You will also support SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, industrial servers, operator workstations, and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and troubleshoot managed switches and industrial firewalls
- Support Modbus, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, and DNP3 protocols
- Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation
- Install equipment,



complete rack-and-stack activities, and test networks
- Work with operations, engineering, vendors, and NOC resources

Requirements:

- Minimum five-plus years in OT, industrial networking, or industrial IT
- Robust TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, firewall, and VPN knowledge
- Experience with structured cabling, network testing, and hardware deployments
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, and Active Directory
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification preferred
