As a Senior or Principal Backfill Engineer, you will deliver technical assignments within the Geotechnical team. The work combines project management, technical problem-solving, client relationships, risk management, and consulting business development. You will operate with minimal supervision while supporting project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and deliver consulting assignments within established budgets
- Complete technical backfill tasks within agreed timeframes
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff
- Develop client relationships supporting AMC’s project portfolio




- Maintain accurate project documentation and communications

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mining or Geotechnical Engineering
- Approximately 10–15 years’ mining industry experience
- Broad experience with backfilling methods and systems
- Experience undertaking backfill projects or operating systems
- Independent project management and service marketing ability
