The Corporate Development function at Wealthsimple is a small but high-impact team responsible for accelerating the company’s growth through mergers & acquisitions, strategic investments, and strategic partnerships. We’re looking for someone who can seamlessly swing between corporate strategy projects to identify avenues for scalable growth and tactical deal execution to catalyze our highest priorities. You will own the development of rigorous analyses to evaluate build / buy / partner scenarios with the goal of providing strategic recommendations to the leadership team. This is a great role for someone who is an innovative thinker and wants to help bend the company’s growth trajectory. Manage all stages of a deal process
- including inbound / outbound sourcing, deal assessment, valuation, negotiations, due diligence, structuring, closing processes, and post-deal integration
