Job Overview

Duties

- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling (hose reels and various components) to ensure a secure and efficient work environment and worksite readiness.
- Using simple hand tools, assist in the installation of irrigation components such as sprayheads, valve boxes, hoses and clamps to achieve a completed project.
- Using shovels, dig small excavations to facilitate hose, sprayhead and valve box installation.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), as required.

Experience

- Prior experience with simple hand tools and shovels is preferred, but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Skills in using wrenches, hose clamps and handheld pipe cutters are assets.
- Knowledge of basic work safety practices is required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift hose reels, and bend and kneel safely is necessary.
