Key Responsibilities :

- Sound knowledge of skills and techniques related to hardscape landscape construction
- Execute the installation of various hardscape features, including patios, walkways, outdoor structures and more
- Utilize a variety of machinery including a quick cuts, torches and skid steers
- Experience cutting and laying flagstone
- Efficiently prepare area for hardscape installations, taking into consideration factors such as soil conditions, drainage, and slope
- Follow guidelines for proper material handling and storage




- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Work with team members to ensure proper drainage solutions and erosion control
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for specific tasks
- Maintain a tidy, organized and safe work environment at all times
- Assist with snow clearing and shoveling
- Contribute to overall success of projects by taking on additional responsibilities as needed

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed :

- Proficient in the use of hardscape tools
- Physically fit and able to lift, bend and kneel repeatedly and carry out strenuous physical tasks
- Reliable, motivated and energetic
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of the landscape team
- Enjoy working outside and in various weather conditions
- Ability to utilize precision stone-cutting techniques according to design specifications
- Ability to operate a skid steer is an asset

Qualifications :

- Valid G license and clean driving abstract
- Minimum two years experience in hardscape installation or similar role in the landscape/construction industry
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

Salary Range : Pay: $17.20-$33.36 per hour
