Use hands-on repair skills across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems while maintaining the BC Hydro Surrey Campus. Work onsite with suppliers and facility teams. Black & McDonald seeks a Maintenance Technician to support building operations, safety, and corrective work. You will perform light repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and service-call responses. The position also coordinates vendors, reviews completed work, and supports schedules, reports, and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Perform minor in-house repairs and light preventive maintenance Assist supplier technicians with HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical duties Request supplier quotes before scheduled work Monitor construction schedules, milestones,



and progress Complete B&M; and supplier service reports

Requirements:
Three to five years of relevant facilities experience Hands-on experience with small repairs and maintenance tasks Fourth or Fifth Class Power Engineering certification is an asset Robust organization, communication, and time-management skills Ability to pass a criminal background check Apply technical maintenance experience, hands-on repair ability, and systems knowledge to support dependable campus operations onsite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
