Lead operating room and APU staffing at Halton Healthcare during Monday-to-Friday, 7.5-hour day shifts, with solid clinical judgment. Help maintain department coverage and patient access.

As a Clinical Resource Nurse, you will manage scheduling and daily staffing assignments while monitoring the master schedule. You will collaborate with perioperative colleagues, the PCM, and PPC OR/PACU units. The role also supports staff learning, recruitment, performance appraisal, and committee participation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain adequate departmental staffing and schedule coverage
- Promote evidence-based perioperative practices with PPC units
- Facilitate staff learning needs with clinical partners
- Support recruitment and performance appraisal processes




- Represent OR interests on committees and projects

Requirements:

- Five to seven years of current operating room experience
- Previous OR charge nurse experience is an asset
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS and perioperative certification
- Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and problem solving
