Mencap is seeking Support Workers for full-time and part-time opportunities in Peterborough. You will support day-to-day living, household tasks, shopping, volunteering, arts and crafts, and visits within the community. The role also may include personal care, medication administration, and manual handling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support daily living and household activities
- Help people manage post and shopping budgets
- Accompany people to cafés, groups, and day centres
- Support visits to family, friends, and community venues
- Encourage independence through person-centred support

Requirements:

- Adaptable approach to wide-ranging support requirements
- Enjoyment of working as part of a team
- Full flexibility for mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Availability for sleep-in shifts
