- Construction and Maintenance ## Job Overview QSON Electric is seeking a skilled and experienced 309A Electrician to join our team. This position will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within various commercial construction projects and existing facilities plus some residential electrical service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in commercial construction and maintenance settings.
- Interpret and adhere to Canadian electrical codes (e.g., CSA, local municipal codes) and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.




- Instruct and mentor apprentices and helpers in secure and efficient electrical practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment. ## Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician.
- Valid Canadian Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract record.
- Up-to-date certification on all required Canadian safety certificates (e.g., WHMIS, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety).
- Proven ability to accurately interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools. ## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within commercial construction projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
