Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated full-time QC Inspector to join our dynamic Quality Control Team in Edmonton, Alberta. Please no phone calls or drop-ins. Only local candidates will be considered. Night Shift (10hr)
- Monday-Thursday 2:30pm to 1:00am. Inc. is a locally-owned manufacturing and distribution company that has been operating in Edmonton since 1966. Our in-house engineering department and full-service manufacturing facility enable us to meet and exceed customer and industry expectations. Conducting inspections of orders to ensure adherence to the quality standards of Plainsman and our customers. Scanning material test reports (MTRs) for traceability verification.



Monitoring and controlling calibration for all measurement devices and ensuring proper calibration is maintained. Perform and document in-house testing. Applying lean principles to the manufacturing process to enhance quality and minimize waste. Adhering to the Quality Management program and promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization. QC training or relevant QC experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Oil & Gas related downhole production and completion tools is an asset. Experience in troubleshooting and applying corrective actions using methodologies such as 5 Whys, root cause analysis, DMAIC, etc. Knowledge of quality control principles, with an emphasis on quality at the source. Intermediate proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) functions to manage inventory, work orders and facilitate efficient processes. we value diversity and equal prospect.
