Interior Health seeks a reliable, flexible, motivated Medical Laboratory Assistant for its Medical Laboratory Department. The relief full-time opportunity continues until the incumbent returns, with Sunday-to-Thursday day and evening shifts. The position supports laboratory services through patient blood collection, specimen handling, routine testing, and ECG testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take blood samples from patients
- Prepare blood and other specimens for analysis
- Perform routine laboratory tests and ECG testing




- Distribute specimens to laboratory departments and outside laboratories
- Enter data into the Laboratory Information System and complete clerical duties

Requirements:

- Experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant
