Electrical Designer opportunities in Calgary focus on AutoCAD Electrical, custom power distribution, and control-system design. This position is fully onsite.

Actalent seeks an Electrical Designer for contract-to-hire work supporting complex projects from concept through completion. You will translate customer specifications into manufacturable designs for industrial facilities, utilities, advanced technology applications, and other essential operations. The work includes schematics, calculations, component selection, documentation, and project collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design custom power distribution and control solutions
- Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and single-line drawings
- Select and integrate electrical components and systems




- Maintain Bills of Materials and technical records
- Support manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Requirements:

- Electrical Engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent education
- Experience designing industrial electrical systems or similar products
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical
- Understanding of schematics, power distribution, and design principles
- Experience creating technical documentation and Bills of Materials
