Support extrusion production as a Compounder at Westlake, using material handling skills across 12 hour rotating continental shifts. Quality compound keeps siding production supplied.

Reporting to the Compounding Supervisor, this role prepares compound for extrusion lines in the production department. Responsibilities include supplying compound, pigments, and regrind, receiving materials, and supporting inventory activities. The Compounder also follows safety and company policies while maintaining designated storage areas. Work may include afternoon, midnight, straight night, and rotating shifts in the stated 12 hour continental format.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supply extrusion lines with compound, pigments, and regrind
- Place proper materials into designated silos
- Receive, load,



and unload material deliveries
- Inspect screens between conveyors and extruder silos
- Complete housekeeping and support regrind cleaning

Requirements:

- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
- Company sponsored forklift certification
- Knowledge of propane powered counter balanced forklifts
- Computer literacy and basic mathematical ability
- Solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
