You will have a reasonable level of autonomy in decision-making and the ability to expand the network of customers. In this role you will develop new accounts and build long-term customer relationships. You will source new business through a combination of techniques, including networking, cold calling, supplied advertising, direct mailing, and other proactive prospecting methods. The core element of this job is to secure industrial equipment to fill the auction yard ahead of each sale date. Work with companies in wide range of industries, including construction, oilfield, equipment sales and rental, mining, transportation, utilities, government, etc. Key account management, developing relationships and utilising the CRM system. Working to targets, you will grow your territory through establishing new business relationships and maximise consignments using your already established network of contacts in the industry.



Gather market intelligence and develop a strategy/plan to effectively grow and manage consignments in your assigned territory. Conduct and present research on potential new customers and how you may convert them into new business. A machinery enthusiast with an entrepreneurial nature who can maximise sales from new and existing customers. Experienced in hunting new business opportunities using current and creative techniques. Proven sales experience and established customer base within the industrial sector. heavy equipment, industrial assets, construction or agriculture.)
