Janzen’s Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant – LTC Data Entry Specialist for its Long-Term Care team. You will enter prescriptions, process refills, coordinate packaging, and organize deliveries. The position supports residents of long-term care facilities and retirement homes through accurate pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter prescription orders using Kroll, PointClickCare, and Med e-Care
- Process refills, new prescriptions, and third-party adjudications
- Package medications and coordinate facility deliveries accurately
- Maintain documentation, confidentiality,
and pharmacy regulatory compliance
- Respond professionally to nurses, care staff, and healthcare providers
Requirements:
- Robust working knowledge of Kroll, PCC, and Med e-Care
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand long periods and occasionally lift containers
